»Heat-X« Type GE

Energy efficient heating without CO2 production

The »Heat-X» type GE represents a unique heating concept for poultry stables, which combines the benefits of a closed combustion system with the benefits of a heating installed outside the stable.

The »Heat-X» type GE is a closed, directly gas fired heater. This means, that the combustion gases remain outside the poultry stable and CO2 as well as water vapor don't need to be transported out. The ventilation volume can be significantly reduced since a lower volume of cold air needs to be heated. This results in a drastically reduced gas consumption.
Research shows that energy savings up to 25% are possible compared to standard direct heaters.

Due to the closed combustion, the humidity inside the stable significantly drops compared to direct gas fired heaters and results in drier litter. This noticeably reduces the ammonia emissions and further more humidity induced diseases such as podoconiosis as well as bird diseases and mortalities are rare, which results in higher profitability.
